Optimization of the platform for trading cryptocurrency Due to the fact that cryptocurrency have increased volatility, and a large number of orders executions take place, trading the cryptocurrency requires significant computer resources. However, there are several ways to optimize the operation of the TigerTrade platform, all of them are listed below. Recipe 1. Increase the price scale This optimization method allows you to significantly reduce the consumed amount of RAM and practically does not affect the technical analysis functions. At the same time, a compressed order book becomes much more convenient for trading with high market volatility. The price scale works as follows. Let's say a BTCUSDT bitcoin futures is in open position, and it has a price step of $ 0.01. After we set the price scale to 100, the price step for the BTCUSDT futures becomes $ 1, i.e. volumes at different price levels will be combined into one level, and the volume of data will be reduced by almost 100 times. To change the price scale in the DOM or chart window, click the Price Scale icon on the toolbar, enter a new value and click the Apply button, as shown below. Recipe 2. Change data type from clusters to bars With this optimization method, not fully complete data will be loaded from the server, as in the case of clusters view, but only the OHLC of the bar, as well as the bar volume and delta. The disadvantage of this optimization recipe is the inability to see clusters, and some volume indicators such as VolumeProfiles and DynamicLevels, as well as the VolumeProfile graphical object, they will not work. To change the data type, you need to open the timeframe selection window and change the data type to Bars, as shown below. Recipe 3. Reduce the amount of downloaded history If you do not need a chart with a deep history, you can set the maximum number of days for which history will be loaded for each timeframe. To enter these settings, you need to open the timeframe selection window and click the Edit button in it. Further, for each preset timeframe, it will be possible to set the history depth in days separately for the window with the chart and the window with the DOM. These settings are not automatically applied to all windows after editing. It is necessary to select the timeframe again in each window. We hope that our tips will help you optimize the platform and improve your trading results. Good luck!
